StrangeLove Tonic No.8: the flagship of the StrangeLove’s range, Tonic No. 8 took just over seven attempts to get right. The result is a robust, full bodied Indian Tonic perfect for everyday use.  

With lively supporting citrus notes derived from bitter orange and lemon peel, StrangeLove added a dash of juniper to ensure easy pairing with even the most rambunctious of gins. Guatemalan cinchona provides a superb, bitter finish that instantly answers all the questions you never thought to ask. At 7g/100ml of sugar, this tonic is slightly dry, but still has a big mouthfeel and an unbelievable finish. The StrangeLove alchemists used a blend of Congolese and Guatemalan cinchona for an absolutely incredible bitterness profile.

• StrangeLove Light Tonic (at 2.9g/100ml of sugar), it is the driest on the market, a grown-up tonic for those who want the bitter twist without the overt sugary hit of traditional tonics.
• StrangeLove Dirty Tonic is an ode to the origins of the tonic category. It’s made with ground, raw Guatemalan cinchona bark (the bark of the tree that gives us quinine). Cloudy and infused with natural botanicals as well as rosemary and sea salt, when matched with the best gin it creates the world’s first Dirty G&T.
• StrangeLove Bitter Lemon: is complex citrus experience is StrangeLove’s homage (of sorts) to the old cult classic. Of course, like all things StrangeLove, this offers a fresh take on the old-school combining organic lemons and cinchona with exotic Asian citrus extracts for a new-found flare.
• StrangeLove Dry Ginger: if this ginger mixer was a person, we are not sure you’d want to be friends with it. Delightfully unstable, it calls on an unholy trinity of fiery Australian Buderim ginger juice, Fijian ginger extract and a lick of Szechuan pepper to create an exciting and lively heat experience that will stay with you long after the party is over.

StrangeLove: StrangeLove was born in Byron Bay NSW where founders – James Bruce and Stafford Fox – developed a passion for organic produce and stumbled upon an old family recipe for a ginger elixir.
