Snake Oil Tonic Syrupis a rendition of the original remedial tonics of British India, where quinine was used to combat malaria among the colonies. It is made using two different strains of Cinchona Bark alongside a range of citrus and floral elements.

Brought to you by Blend Etiquette, a South Australian team working to collaborate with fantastic Australian Gins and Independent Stockists to bring premium mixers to avid gin drinkers. Snake Oil Tonic Syrup was first created at Kangaroo Island Spirits by owner Jon Lark. Using the original ingredient, Cinchona Bark from the fever trees in Peru, he crafted a premium tonic, well suited to any Gin and Tonic. Having been gifted the recipe by his dad, Jon's son Lindon Lark and Geordan Elliss are the driving force behind Blend Etiquette.

Snake Oil Tonics is a quality tonic concentrate that is mixed with carbonated water to create tonic water. This product gives a premium option for the connoisseur of fine gin with added benefits including flavour and portion control.

Ingredients:

Snake Oil Tonic Syrup is made with hand peeled local mandarins and limes, chopped lemongrass, roasted cardamom and pimento berries. Stemming from the original anti-malarial recipe, Snake Oil Tonic Syrup tonic is one of the few commercial tonics to use the original source of quinine, Cinchona Bark.

Also great to use with a SodaStream® or other home soda maker. Tip: If you're using a SodaStream®, make sure you give it some extra fizz as it needs to work extra hard with the viscosity of gin.
