About Never Never Dark Series Southern Strength Gin (500 ml)

Country of origin: Australia Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 54% Bottle size: 500ml

Dark Series bottlings are experimental limited releases, small in number but big on flavour. Batch 5 of our Southern Strength Gin is still a heavier juniper beast, thick with exotic and native wooded spice.

Nose: Dark resinous pine mingling with intense wood-spice and pepperberry. Earthy and savoury in style.

Palate: Oily and viscous, yet balanced despite the high alcoholic content. Juniper still dominates, lengthened by bright citrus and earthy root character.

Finish: Extremely long as the higher alcohol percentage carries the fuller flavour.

The mouthfeel of the Triple Juniper is heightened and developed through the added botanical weight, and an extended sweetness can be attributed to liquorice. Pepperberry spice develops late.
