Ink Gin (Floral Infused Craft Gin) is a world first. Pot distilled with a blend of 13 native, traditional and exotic organic botanicals, Ink Gin is infused with butterfly pea flower petals to impart a smoothness and a unique and beautiful colour play. In 2012, distiller Paul Messenger began experimenting with the curious colour changing properties of an exotic flowering legume from Thailand known as the Buttterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea).

He spent the next three years assessing a wide range of botanicals including native Australian bush tucker before settling on a balanced recipe of 12 botanicals in perfect harmony with the flower.

The result would turn the most traditional spirit upside down. This natural floral infusion gives Ink Gin a remarkable and lustrous quality, most elegantly displayed in their signature Ink & Tonic, which changes colour from deep blue to blush pink when mixed.

Tasting Notes:

• APPEARANCE: Bright blue and indigo hues changing to pink when mixed with
• natural acidity including tonic water, lemon or lime.
• NOSE: Fragrant citrus followed by fresh pine, coriander, juniper and sweet orange.
• TASTE: Fresh lemon myrtle leads onto subtle pepper berry and citrus notes.
• FINISH: Long and warm smooth finish.
