Country of origin: Australia Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 42% Bottle size: 700 ml
Hand crafted in a bespoke, luxurious copper pot still designed specifically by Imbibis’ Chief Distiller.
Clarity Gin is made from South-East Queensland wine to distil the base spirit, unlike many other gins which utilise a wheat-based spirit. After two distillations, a third distillation is used to craft the neutral spirit into this Modern Australian Gin through the unique blend of botanicals.
The aroma of Clarity Gin yields a subtle juniper influence and is wonderfully complex and enticing. Initial juniper pine notes give way to floral highlights and a spicy depth.
The flavour is rich and generous. Led by juniper and citrus the taste meanders through to the floral notes of lavender, callistemon, and galangal. Locally foraged lemon myrtle provides mid-palate freshness after which is a spicy, long finish of cinnamon, turmeric, nutmeg, clove, and star anise notes.
The palate is silky smooth and belies its 42% ABV strength.
