Cocktailing with Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur image

With the versatility of both a gin and a liqueur, Pomp & Whimsy can replace gin in classic cocktails, and/or be a substitute for aromatic liqueurs. Used as a modifier, Pomp & Whimsy harmonizes competing flavoors in a cocktail, while adding its own unique notes.

Here are a few of our favourite Pomp & Whimsy Cocktails:

  • 2 oz gin liqueur
  • 1 oz dry curaçao
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 2 oz lemon soda
  • Apple, orange, cucumber, strawberries, mint

Build liquors over ice in a tall glass, stir and top with lemon soda and a handful of the fruits.

  • 1 & 1⁄2 oz gin
  • 1⁄2 oz Pomp & Whimsy
  • 1⁄2 oz simple syrup dash cardamom bitters

Build over ice in a double old- fashioned glass. Garnish with an oversized twist of grapefruit.

Try different bitters to highlight the diverse botanical notes.

  • 2 oz Pomp & Whimsy
  • 2 oz Brut Champagne, chilled

Pour P&W over ice in a cocktail shaker and swirl until well chilled.

Strain into a coupe and top with champagne.

Garnish with a fanciful twist of citrus.

  • 1 oz Pomp & Whimsy
  • 1 oz bitter orange amaro
  • 1⁄2 oz dry vermouth
  • 1⁄2 oz sweet vermouth

Combine the ingredients in an old- fashioned glass filled with ice; stir to combine.

Garnish with a twist of orange peel.

  • 2 oz Pomp & Whimsy
  • 3⁄4 oz lemon juice
  • 1⁄2 oz honey syrup

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, and shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe

Garnish with a lemon twist and a sprig of fresh thyme
